Yesterday, our Founder and Owner, Grace, and Community Relations Manager, Alicia, had the privilege of spending the day giving back in two meaningful ways.
Building More Than Homes
The morning was spent volunteering for Women Build with Habitat for Humanity, lending a helping hand on a local build for a single mother in our local community. While Habitat for Humanity is known for constructing affordable homes, its mission is really about something much bigger—creating stability, hope, and opportunity for families.
It was a reminder that something as simple as giving your time can have a lasting impact on someone else’s future. Watching a group of powerful, like-minded women come together with a shared purpose was inspiring, and we’re grateful to have played a small role in helping build not just a house, but a place Adriana and her children will proudly call home.
Supporting Health Care for Everyone
After trading work gloves for business attire, the day continued at a fundraising event benefiting Five Rivers Health Centers.
Five Rivers provides an incredible range of services for our community, including primary care, dental care, vision services, behavioral health, podiatry, women’s health, pharmacy services, transportation assistance, medication delivery, and help enrolling in Medicare and Medicaid. Most importantly, they are committed to ensuring every person has access to quality healthcare—regardless of their ability to pay.
As an organization that works closely with seniors, caregivers, and families every day, we understand how important accessible healthcare is. Events like these help ensure vital resources remain available for the people who need them most.
Stronger Communities Through Partnership
