How do I know if you accept my insurance?

I am currently not happy with the agency that I am with. Can I switch home care agencies at any time?

Yes, you have the right to change your home care agency provider at any time, we advise for you to also communicate any issues and concerns to your agency and case manager.

Can I get paid for caring for a loved one?

Yes, you can get compensation for becoming a caregiver for your loved one, give us a call and we will give you all the information needed.

What are some things that my caregiver cannot do?

  • Your caregivers cannot administer medication, only a nurse is allowed to administer medication.
  • Your caregiver cannot transport you in their own car, however they can help you set up transportation and accompany you to and from your appointments.
  • Your caregiver cannot accept gifts, yes, even around the holidays. This helps everyone avoid conflicts of interest.

How do I qualify for home care services?

If you are paying out of pocket (private pay) or using your long-term care insurance, you do not need any further screening, you’ll just need to call us and set up an appointment for our coordinator to meet with you.

If you want to check eligibility for Medicaid here is who to contact:

For individuals under the age of 60 years old, call Ohio Home Care Waiver at 844-644-6582 and ask for the intake department. Tell them once approved you would like Amazing Grace Home Care to be your provider. They will ask you basic information about the care you need and will set up a visit to come to your home and complete an assessment to check eligibility.

For individuals who are 60 years or older, call Area Agency on Aging at 937-223-4357 and ask for the intake department. Tell them once approved you would like Amazing Grace Home Care to be your provider. What is your pay schedule?

We pay weekly! Every Friday!

Do I have to be a certified CAN or STNA to apply for a caregiving job?

No, you do not need to be certified to become a caregiver, we have training available.

Do I have to drive to many different client’s homes to get full time hours?

No, you do not have to drive to more than 2 client’s homes in order to get full time hours.

We work with your availability and find you work that meets your needs.

Do I have to drive clients in my car?

No, you cannot drive clients in your car, however you may need to go to the store for them and accompany them to appointments.
